Web Video Marketing- The Keys To Major Success.

Tapping into audience emotion- The best kept secret to effective and successful web video marketing lies in tapping into your target audiences’ emotion and feeling, whether hate, love, sadness, happiness, jealousy, envy, compassion or egoism. Strong opinions are imperative, a willingness to express your ideas and last but definitely not least total commitment to your strategy or cause closest to your heart.

Successful campaigns- A successful marketing campaign will let people sit-up and take notice, with a feeling of excitement. Steer clear from the idea of objective and neutral approach, with the aim of pleasing everyone. Identify your target group or another manner to reflect your unbiased view.

Surprise- People love surprises. If you want people to notice and most important remember your campaign, you have to do something different and totally unexpected. Avoid “our products are the best” routine, its so boring and outdated, as well as the angle of making whatever your are marketing appear fashionable and cool. Copied web video marketing campaigns are also not recommended.

Don’t look desperate- No matter how under pressure you are you should never try to hard to please as this will create an illusion of desperation which will reflect very badly on your overall image. Companies normally assume that web video marketing strategies consist of ad-sharing between internet surfers – wrong! Traditional strategies are safe and rather boring routes which often result in failure or little success. These strategies included product or service promo, quality showcasing, product placement on pedestal, model or mogul endorsements. What your web video marketing strategy needs is a strong and interesting storyline. You should place yourself, the service or product and business on the backburner for a sec and focus entirely on proper storyline creation. It is however imperative to take the product as well as business into consideration when its due but you should know where to draw the line.

To be continued…-Okay you’ve achieved your goal- people have seen your web video marketing campaign, necessary emotions have been felt and curiosity tickled by unexpected twists and turns in your storyline… Now the next step is to keep the feelings going by continuing and taking the campaign to the next level until you have their complete attention.

What’s next?- Now is not the time to sit back and do nothing. Once you get viewer and potential client or consumer attention you need to be pro-active, and one of the best ways to do this is to give them more of what they love- a sequels to your web video.

Sequel types- Sequel types include follow-up movie creation with same concepts as first in mind of course, behind the scenes peek or the making of, flops, progress blogs, freebies, competitions or a combo of all of the above.

Free or Low-Cost Marketing Tips

According to the Association of National Advertisers, as of August 2009 74% of business marketing departments are reducing their advertising budgets. If big companies are doing this, you can be sure that small businesses are currently reconsidering and reallocating their advertising budgets. Combine this with the need to replace some of the business volume you may have lost, what should you, as a small business owner, do to market your goods and services?

There are many non-traditional marketing methods that are often free or very low-cost. They aren’t meant to replace your usual marketing strategy but to supplement and grow it. Because they are so inexpensive and low-risk, now, in these financially leaner times, is a great time to test them out.

Certainly one of the most discussed of the free marketing ideas is the use of social media and relationship building. By interacting on various social sites like Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter and adding contacts and/or friends to your network, you get more free exposure for you and your business. You must be patient and persistent. This type of marketing strategy takes time to develop properly.

Treat your current customers like the gold that they are. Personally pick up the phone and call to thank them for their loyalty. Send them a card or note in the mail. Stop by where they work to say hello. Don’t peddle. Let them know you are seeking new business but do not make that the reason for the contact.

Build a referral network. What is this exactly? Essentially it is a network of individuals who refer business to one another. Let your accountant, your attorney, your doctor, your computer maintenance person or anyone else that you do business with know that you are looking for new business. Let them know you’d be glad to refer to them if they would do the same. Feel confident in those people you refer business to! But be sure to let your trusted contacts know you are seeking referrals.

A great way to meet like-minded people you respect, and to build your own reputation, is through community involvement. Whether you are volunteering at a soup kitchen or for Habitat for Humanity, you get the opportunity to tell people what you do while providing a genuine service. You can also let people know your business is involved with certain organizations by adding their logos to your website.

A well-developed spiel about your business is important so you can answer the question “What do you do?” with aplomb. This presentation is called your “elevator speech” because it is short enough to deliver on an elevator ride. Be sure you flesh it out a bit if you are in a traditional business. If you own an auto supply store, don’t just say that. Say “I own a business that supports both casual drivers as well as car collectors by carrying one of the largest inventories in the area. What kind of car do you drive?”. This opens up a whole new conversation.

Search engine optimization is the process of ensuring that your website or blog ranks as high as possible in search engine results. There are simple steps like adding outgoing links, keywords and title changes, that you can make so that sites like Google and Yahoo can find you. Try to do some of this yourself or ask your webmaster for help. Check out other articles about SEO on my website.

Using Article Marketing to Build your List

Article Marketing is a great way to drive traffic to your site as well as building backlinks to boost your search engine rankings. The trick is to do your research before you start writing articles.

First you must decide the purpose of your article marketing campaign. Do you want to build a list, drive traffic or build backlinks for SEO? Deciding the purpose of your article marketing campaign will determine the structure and writing style of your article.

Articles are a impressive way to build your list. Use your articles to give helpful information for your readers. Provide a solution to a ordinary problem in your niche in your article and link to your site giving away a free report detailing the theory as incentive for people to opt in for your mailing list.

Traffic generation with articles is a proven procedure. Using well written articles circulated to the top directories will bring you lots of traffic, if you do a little work after your first article submissions.

Make use of secondary article directories to link to your first articles. Social bookmark your articles for more backlinks. Ping your articles at PingOat.Com. Submit your author feeds to RSS directories. Build even more backlinks to your articles using sites like FreeTrafficSystem.Com and UniqueArticleWizard.Com.

By building backlinks to your existing articles they will rank higher in the search engines for your targeted keywords bringing you more traffic.

Facebook And FriendFeed

Well, I’m sure that you’ve learned the news now that FriendFeed has been purchased by Facebook. This is working to put Facebook on the map for real-time search inquiries just like on Twitter. It sure does look like that Facebook is running after Twitter, hard-core.

The brand-new real-time search will be a leap forward for Facebook. They don’t have to search over extended complex updates to see what is going on, but now it’ll be in clear concise coordinate tabs to help you bound between friends listings and FriendFeeds.

This is very important because for a long time Facebook is fallen are weak Twitter in momentum. Twitter has become the sole place that a lot of people go to to find up to the second word on their hot subjects. This is the way that the Cyberspace is going. Outside from Google spiders that take 30 minutes to five minutes to find pages, and more towards user driven search engines. I then found myself seeking Twitter instead of Google what I want to find out something.

Now you’ll be able to spring all over the Facebook search engine just like you would with Twitter is a list of updated news stories even from someones that are not on your friends list.

To see more and more from Facebook as they shape into this new functionality that they have and I’m sure you’ll see more and more promotion of this leap forward from Facebook.

What it all comes down to though, I’m still going to use twitter at this place to ping my community of interests that I have composed this post. I guess… have to wait a little bit longer until Facebook and FriendFeed get things up and ranging.

There’s no question about it though, this is where the Internet is going towards real-time searches because people want things faster and faster. Just look at broadband Internet and its expansion of the past 2 years. Pretty soon we’ll be beaming information from one person to another instantaneously.

We will just have to see how Facebook and FriendFeed compete with twitter and what routes things head in the future. One thing’s for sure, this business plan is worth millions to both companions. Who will succeed? We will see.
